Summary: Evan Buckley had his first encounter with fate when he was five years old. Some people only ever had a single encounter with fate their entire lives. It seems to be an annual occurrence for Evan, but he doesn’t really mind. Especially not when it leads him to the Diazes.

Author Notes
- POSTING: I’ll be posting as I finish editing/art/whatever. The first four episodes have only been mildly tweaked from what was posted on Rough Trade. The fifth episode is new, so it needs the most work/time to post.
- WARNINGS: There are some minor discussions of the canon elements of alcoholism and vague inferences to infidelity in season 1. These are canon plot elements, not things I’m introducing in my story. Same thing with the domestic violence, to be honest. It’s canon references, not something I’m showing much of on screen. Also, some of the warnings are discussions of stopping potential crimes.
- CAPITALIZATION: Regarding capitalization of Fate vs fate. Lower case speaks to generalized fate, such as a person’s fate. Upper case is usually used to refer to the personification of Fate. As in the sentience interacting with the world and directing the fate of those she chooses.
- There’s a kid named Tommy in episode one. It should be obvious that this isn’t Tommy Kinard, but there was confusion last time. There is more than one Tommy on the planet 😉
- There was some art provided by others for this series, and I’ll be posting the art with the appropriate part of the series.
