…I’ll Forgive

Title: …I’ll Forgive
Author: Jilly James
Series: For You…
Series Order: 1
Fandom: NCIS
Relationship(s): Tony DiNozzo/Ethan Moore (OMC)
Content Rating: R
Beta Thanks: Naelany. And thanks to my alpha readers: desertpoet, Ladyholder, & Keira.
Warnings: Mentions of events around 9/11 could be upsetting, discussions of homophobia.
Challenge: Written for the NCIS Big Bang on LiveJournal. Thank you to RPDots for the artwork to go with this episode. There’s banner art up top and cover art at the bottom of the post.
Author Notes: Pre-series, but spoilers for 08×22-Baltimore and references to Tony’s relationship with Wendy. I know it’s canon that the Macaluso UC op happened in Baltimore, but that makes little sense for several reasons, so I changed it to Philly.
Word Count: ~27k
Summary: After the end of his relationship with Wendy, someone from Tony’s past resurfaces in an attempt to get Tony back in his life. Ethan’s willing to work for it if there’s a chance Tony can forgive him.

Summer 2017 Update – jillyjames.com Site Transfer

First, and most important, I will be transferring to a new hosting service over the next few days. This should be a smooth transition but things can go wrong, and it’s possible my site may go down for a while. Or be up and down. Or even go down for a couple days. Grab your towel and don’t panic. I’m not leaving the Internet, I’m just trying to sort out technical issues. Hopefully, things will go smooth as silk and you’ll be none the wiser. But if there’s a catastrophic meltdown, just chill. It’ll be back up eventually. Continue reading

Chapter Nine

Tony watched Clifton Yount from the observation room. The man was about 5’8, well-muscled, moderately attractive, with reddish blond hair and pale blue eyes. He projected an air of confidence Tony was certain was affected.

Arresting Yount had been anticlimactic. Base security had the whole contingent from Fletcher Utility under guard by the time Tony and the BAU finally cleared the gate. Tony had been the one to actually perform the arrest and bring him back to the Yard. Now, he was just waiting to watch the interrogation. Continue reading

Tony entered Quill at the Jefferson. It was a Wednesday night so the place wasn’t packed, but it was still somewhat crowded and finding SecNav might not be easy. The environment was calm, and the piano music nice and mellow. Continue reading

Chapter Five

Tony greeted the security guys as he entered the building at 0730 then took the stairs up to the second floor. He was feeling rested and recharged after the weekend—he had taken Beth’s advice and not done anything about work. Somewhat reluctantly, he’d accepted her invitation to the theater and brought along a woman he used to date who had managed the rare feat of remaining a friend after they stopped dating. To his surprise, he’d really enjoyed the evening. Beth’s husband was a writer and historian, and both were great conversationalists. The night was the first fun he’d had in a long time. Chapter Five

Alex walked down the stairs listening to the familiar, steady rasp of sandpaper on wood.

“Tony,” Gibbs acknowledged without looking up. When Alex set the bottle of Rip Van Winkle Family Reserve bourbon on Gibbs’ workbench, he glanced over then did a double-take. “Particular reason you brought me a $2500 bottle of bourbon?” Continue reading
